Thank you for providing Kandaree and myself with the excellent coaching sessions to assist us in getting our footing with the Career Direct Living by Design consulting business. This is our first attempt at self-employment and operating a business. We have found there are many hurdles, obstacles and nuances to starting a business. We were fortunate that God sent you our way to help us get our bearing. You have proven to be a great listener and your analytical skills allowed you to provide us with great feedback and strategies for moving forward in the business. We have realized several takeaways from our coaching session, but the one that stands out is the fact that you told us to ensure we had a mission statement and vision for the business. You expressed that we should “begin with the end in mind”. You also advised us to break the tasks down into smaller and manageable parts and to determine who was going to work on what and when. You encouraged us as a couple to frequently share our thoughts and ideas about the business and establish realistic goals while holding each other accountable. While we know that nothing ventured is nothing gained and this will not be an overnight process. Because of your efforts, we now have a clearer vision and path for our direction. Most of all, we know this will be a faith walk. Thank you for your patience, encouragement and willingness to share your great wealth of knowledge with others. You have all the skills necessary for a great coach!!!

I approached Tomeico when I was planning on starting my own business. In my initial consultation with her, she provided me with a well-organized list and walked me through of all the essential areas I had to cover from setting up my company to the different electronic medical records that are available. She is also very personable and has always been available to answer any of my questions. She is very knowledgeable in the areas of setting up of a therapy practice, the different available insurances and all the essentials of running a viable therapy clinic. Having just completed the certificate in low vision rehabilitation OT program at the University of Alabama – Birmingham in the Fall of 2016, I knew I wanted to help people with low vision obtain access to low vision rehabilitation services in my area. I found Tomeico Faison via her company’s webpage for Therapeutic Solutions of NC. Immediately I was astonished. I thought, “this is exactly what I see myself doing, but how?”. Through Tomeico’s business consulting and coaching services, I established the foundation for my practice The Rehab Firm , set attainable goals through Tomeico’s strategic development planning, and pull it all together by attending Tomeico’s Workshop “Ten Simple Steps to Independent Contracting”. Just as I was seeing the end of the path, my area was affected significantly by Hurricane Harvey. Tomeico again showed me how dedicated she was to me seeing my vision through by encouraging me to stay the course and that she and the other great therapists that work for her company were invested in my success and progress during the aftermath of the storm. I can proudly say that I accepted a referral for OT low vision rehabilitation services and completed my first OT low vision evaluation within 10 months of consulting with Tomeico! I’m excited to see how we grow!

I had the privilege of being coached by Tomeico for about two months as I began the process of developing a community based organization. Tomeico is fully invested in her relationship with her clients and in helping them to be successful. She listened to all of my concerns and questions and guided me through the process in order to come to solutions.
